The Haunting of Henry Twist by Rebecca F. John

Usually I love slow, mostly plotless novels set primarily in characters’ heads and with more talking than action (making the action scenes even more striking in my opinion). The Haunting of Henry Twist certainly fits these criteria, but for some reason it didn’t quite work for me.
